This page explains, in plain words, what this website collects about you and where it goes.

    Who we are

This website, crossmediadesigns.com, is run by CrossMedia: CrossMedia LLC in Olathe, Kansas, USA (+1 844-700-8067), and CrossMedia Inc. at No 20, Todds Terrace, St. George, Barbados.

CrossMedia LLC, our US office, is responsible for the information collected through this website and holds it.

For any question about your information, email support@crossmediadesigns.com.

What you send us through our forms

    • Contact form (Contact page): your name, email, company (if you give it), your message, the services you tick, and whether you want our newsletter.
    • Readiness quiz (Discovery page): to see your results you give your name, email and business name. We receive those with your scores. Your individual answers are not sent.
    • Newsletter sign-up (Blog page): your name, email, and the wording of the yes you gave.

With each of these we also receive the address of the page you sent it from. They go through our website's server to BizBoss, CrossMedia's own business platform, where our team picks them up. While we finish moving over, a copy also goes to GoHighLevel, the system we used before.

Some forms on this site are GoHighLevel forms shown inside our pages: the workshop request form and the booking calendars for a call. What you enter in those goes straight to GoHighLevel.

We use what you send to reply to you and to arrange what you asked for. We only send you our newsletter if you said yes to it, and every newsletter lets you unsubscribe.

    The chat in the corner

The chat button on every page is either BizBoss's website assistant, which can answer by text or voice, or, while that is switched off, the GoHighLevel chat. What you type or say in it goes to that service, and to our team, so we can answer you.

    Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser to do this.

BizBoss, CrossMedia's own platform, also counts visits, without cookies. For each page you open it receives the page's address (without anything after a question mark), the website you came from (its name only), your country, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. To count each visitor once a day it makes a scrambled code from your IP address and browser, mixed with a random value that changes every day; the code cannot be turned back into either, and it and the day's random value are deleted after two days. Only the day's totals are kept. Your IP address and browser details are not stored. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, no visit is counted.

    Other services our pages load

    • Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check, and a GoHighLevel script for its forms, on every page.
    • Videos from Vimeo or YouTube, where a page or article shows one.
    • Our articles and events, which load from BizBoss and from ContentBoss, our older content system, and each page's search title and description, which load from BizBoss.

These services can see your browser's usual details, such as your IP address, when your browser loads them.

    Cookies and browser storage

    • Google Analytics cookies, as above.
    • A few technical cookies set by our website host and Cloudflare, for example to block bots and to serve the current version of the site.
    • The chat service keeps its own small records in your browser so it can carry on a conversation.
    • Our site keeps small notes in your browser's storage, such as that you closed an announcement, so it does not show it again.
    • If you are CrossMedia staff and sign in, your sign-in is kept in your browser's storage.

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser's settings.
